About our aircraft appraisal services

Appraisal of an aircraft requires that the appraiser have sufficient experience in the aeronautical sector. The applicants for the ruling may be judges, financial entities for a lease, sale or a simultaneous financial operation of sale and rental. The appraiser must have all the necessary information about the aircraft, which includes but is not limited to:

  • Complete maintenance status of the aircraft including list of rotables, inspections carried out and those scheduled for the future; list of airworthiness directives; complete list of repairs with your part 21 certification; list of life limit parts for engines and landing gear; list of supplementary type certificates; verification that the installed equipment is required in accordance with EASA regulations.

  • Physical inspection of the aircraft and engines.

  • Carry out, if necessary or required by the client, a test flight of the aircraft and preparation of the flight profile.

  • Find out the market prices of aircraft for sale of the same model and age and compare them with the aircraft being appraised through specialized databases or airplane blue book for general aviation.

  • With all the previous parameters, estimate the value of the aircraft and make the corresponding adjustments based on the remnants that the aircraft has in terms of maintenance program inspections, limits of engine components for its next visit to the workshop, operational limitations of the motors in terms of their temperature gradient, limits due to defects or internal cracks in the motors.
